Default XT 4 Pot Calipers Model #BR-M755

Not sure if these are the sought after 4 pot XT calipers that some have mentioned so I'll post up the pics so you all can decide.

These were originally 160mm but you can buy brackets to extend it to whatever your heart's desire. Right now the front are IS mounts and bolt right up to the fork with IS mounts

And here is a shot of the rears; again these are for 160mm the lines that are on them is 1500mm in length.

and I have a different front and rear braided lines

Close up of the rear

These brakes work great; I was just itching to get updated braking for my ride. You'll need new pads and rotors, the pads are still adequate as is the rotors but if you're going to bigger size you can change them out.

Asking price I think $100 is fair for the entire lot w/ the extra lines included.

If those brakes are set up correctly they should work great. They are much like hope M4 brakes

BUMP, they're for sale again. Met up with Jeff and the guys at the Path couldnt get the rears to work w/ the adapter that they had.

So they're still for sale.

Damn, if I had the money i would so buy those, they are the BEST brakes i have ever ridden, I already have a set on my dh bike, now I want a set for my hardtail, you should be able to get them to work on the socom, you just need the right adapter. I got my adapters from http://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...69&category=31

Edit: here are the adaters I run for 8 inch rotors the front is for a post mount and the rear is for standard i.s. mounting, you can probably get it to work with the shimano adapter.

they had some Hope adapter and it was off by just a hair that required some machining/grinding i dont blame him though brakes are important to have on a DH bike

Th challenge was that the rear brake mount on the Socom is a block of metal, no cut out between the tabs and would have had to have been ground out to clear the mounting tabs on the adaptor.

Hey so I'm still pretty broke right now and things aren't looking to good for money in the next few weeks so if you want to open up the offer again go for it. If they're still around whenever I get some cash I'll definitely hit you up. Would hate for others to not be riding those sweet brakes while I search through couch cushions for coinstar fodder.
