I thought those things were dirt cheep. I looked into making some but they sell for next to nothing so I passed (other then a few for myself and friends).

they're just a piece of material (polycarbonate or Al)! it's not like they are precision gears or anything.

i agree, but i dont mind paying 30$ for one, because i sure as hell don't know how to make one.
