Default Long time lurker,

sometime poster.

I live in Riverside and am interested in hitting up trails all over Southern California. I joined some STR folks for the Noble Canyon ride a few weeks ago and had a great time. I'm looking forward to more group rides and more good times.

I think STR is a great site and it's great to have a place where I can find so many local riders and rides.

See you on the trails.

Welcome, lots of rides going on here. I'll be posting another newbie ride soon. Join us. it's not all newbs that do these rides. It's a great way to meet the members and we'll have an "A" group route planned out for the more advanced riders.

More rides is more better. I forgot that I also joined Brendan from Siren cycles for a killer ride up in Idylwild courtesy of STR as well.

I'm pretty far from a noob, but there are plenty of trails that I haven't ridden and it's great to have people who know the trails show them to me.

I'll look for your rides and hopefully I can make it out to one of them. Another new STR riders lives in the neighborhood and we plan on hitting some rides, so I'm sure we'll see you out there.

Default Vultures Unite

Yes, it would be fun to get a venue of Vultures together. I joined a kettle of Vultures in Reno, but most of the time it's a solo Vulture.

I'm up for something mellow next weekend. I'm joining some friends in Moab for the 24H race. The four of us will be flogging ourselves in the Single/rigid category. I want to be mellow the week prior so I am fully recovered for the race.

The Santa Monicas might work well. I'll have to see what's going on closer to the weekend, but that's a definite maybe.

ps: I love the new Avatar too.

Default Pain Freak?

Did you do the Inland Express STS on Saturday? I remember you posting about it. I did the 100 and had a good time. I found a few new routes and enjoyed some old favorites. The weather was perfect and I rode with some nice people.

Brendan, that ride in Idylwild was really fun. I would be psyched to do it again. I think I'm pretty busy for a few weekends, but maybe towards the end of the month.

Cheers,
