Default Howdy.....

Greetings fellow pedal-pushers.

Kevin here.

Stopped by to track BFLO's progress, see what's new etc. etc.

I'm soft-sponsoring him and helping him with his XC endevor. He's pretty long on desire, but short on funds, yeh- who aint, right?

Prolly gonna go with an Access H/T frame, plus a spare wheel set, bar, stem, post, seat and some other spares I have at the pad. I'd front him an XC fork but all my steerers are cut and too short for the size frame he needs- kids growing like a weed! If any of y'all have a spare XC 80/100'ish travel with a long steerer lemme know how much, maybe I can swing it.

I'd love to see him off the front at the races and plan on doing more riding and coaching with him.

He's a good kid and have known him since he was in diapers when I used to ride him around the fire on the tank of his PW50 (awwwww- how cute, poopy-diapers on the tank and his first case of monkey-butt).

See ya'll on the Trail, stay safe-

Cheers!

-k.

I have a Fox F80 RLT at home (I think it's RLT). It's an 06. Only has about 400 easy SS miles on it, so it won't be dirt cheap. PM mechmann if you are interested. I think he posted the steerer tube info a bit ago and may still have it.

Thanks mucho, gang.
Allison- PM sent.

Forgot to incl. some stuff on me....

'DDB' stands for Dr. Dirt Bike.
Back in the Day(s)- I'd be constantly fixing everyone's rides. Buggy's, bikes, etc. I think Brandon coined the phrase and it stuck. I also did back country SAR for the Forest Service and Ca. State Parks on my dirt bike for over 10 years.

Am a member of CORBA-PV. So if any of you are in the area, gimme a shout and we'll hook up. Also a supporter of MTBPV.org. I mainly ride down here now. My stomping grounds include here and the Santa Monica mtns.

Outer Circle Racing- Raced a lot of XC for Joey @ O.C.R. Retired in '02 for no good reasons. Burned out mainly. But I still like going to help out, feed, work on bikes etc. And play ride. It's more fun to ride now since the training stopped. I do miss racing a lot, sometimes. We still do group/beginner rides in the Santa Monica's etc. And training rides like the Simi, CSUN, Mt Pinos, etc.
We gotta web-site but it is totally out of date. But kind a cool like that, some funny old school stuff there. We are about The Fun and the Love that is riding.

I like steel. I love the way it rides. Curtlo made me a HT in '99 to race on, as he sponsored our team. It rode like a dream and raced incredibly well. Was nice having about the only steel frame in the staging lanes. I loved the frame so much, I retired it, hung it in my closet and got an Access and swapped everything over. Pretty bomb-proof frame for a hundred bucks!

Anywho- I'm rambling and feel kinda retarted talking about myself...*dork*.......I'm blaming the coffee!

See ya out there gang.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I guess I'd call myself a wannabe Freerider, but in actuality a somewhat aggressive XC'r....

I'll drop ya a PM for a ride soon....
