Default oodles of Googles

Evil Chocula-- I've googled the gaelic meaning. (duh!) But you should buy one anyhow! We need more in SoCal!

Also, note to all: It rained in Idyllwild today. That means totally killer trail conditions tomorrow!

Welcome!
I see. the pic. Not your shinken, as in the Japanese sword, but a person. Hey, I learned something today!

btw-- is it ok to use that photo? Seems we must have overlooked the credit. (other photos on the site that aren't ours give photo credits-- Mary's good like that)

you can PM me about it..

Not to derail, but....how is the 12 Hrs of Temecula?

Painful (of course, all 12/24hr races are in some way)?

Scenic?

What are the trails like?

I haven't subjected myself to the torture of 12/24hr races since Old Pueblo (or was it "Old Flood-o") 2005! Was thinking it's about time........

12hrs of temecula is not so scenic since it burned a couple of years ago. they have some decent trails, and some fun sections of ST. you can go ride the course whenever you want to check it out. check on geoladders for course maps.

I put some pics of the January race up in this old thread: 12 hrs of temecula

I like that baked-in-the-sun, burnt roast sort of look. Beats GREEN STUFF anytime (just kidding -- I'm just jealous of Colorado riders...).

shinken is Jose! But, you learnt that today!

I wish Jason would credit me on ALL the pics of mine on his front page (they're all mine). I told him he was welcome to use them, but when he posted they were not credited. I wrote him some time ago asking him to do something about that, but he has not redesigned the page to include a link to my mmcphoto.com site. He did the little resizing of the images himself (note that some are stretched out -- he prolly stuck in my pics in old html that had vert and lateral dimensions hard coded, whatever...).

You can go ahead and use it. It would be nice to reference my site if you want to do that. It's not really MTB-centric, so I am not all that worried about it.

Anyhow, we'll catch you on the flip side!
