You're right, this is a great sport and addicting. I can't seem to stop building bikes, with 5 bikes in my corral, I'm still not as bad as some, right Rach? ![]() |

Welcome to the sport! Enjoy the bike and make sure you wear a good helmet when you're riding around out there.
Also, be considerate of the other trail users, especially the hikers and horses, cause they dislike us to begin with! I usually slow down to a walking pace when riding by and give em' a friendly hello (even if they don't respond). Blasting by them at high speed, will just pee them off and get more trails closed (tho' if there's none of them around, I let it all hang out!!!!) ![]() |

Two of mine don't count as bikes, as they're just frames...and, I still don't have a DH bike ![]()

Make sure you check out Lake Hodges (can be easily accessed from the west side, just off of Del Dios by Hernandez Hideaway), which has some easier trails (and also a few fun things along the way), Elfin Forest, etc. Also, it's really helpful to peruse Mountain Bike Bill's site for a plethora of local trails and info! |
