Default Hello All!

Hey everyone!

Just dropping by to introduce myself to the forum. I just recently got into mtn biking; when i say recently I mean i just bought a bike yesterday(lol). I'm glad I found this place because all my friends are either too poor or too lazy to get into this with me. I look forward to meeting some of you on the newbie rides.

I bought a Giant Yukon

So far I've only had a chance to ride it around Mile Square, but I'm pretty much down to try any trail that won't break my neck

The "scenery" is definitly good. Probably not as good as the beach but it's much closer to my house.

I will check out the calendar and try to make it out to as much as I can. Look forward to meeting some of you out there.

Get involved and be sure to check the calendar and Trailhead forums for rides.

Also, be sure to post a lot so we can keep J_SIMS from his goal of reading every post.

She was probably embarrassed that she ran a 45 minute mile..lol. I've actually had other people who have lived in FV their whole lives tell me the same thing; so she shouldn't feel too bad.

I really want to go to the Aug.4th ride but I'm worried about the time. I have to be back in Tustin by 2pm for a wedding. Maybe they won't mind if I show up all sweaty and dirty...

try to make it but you should leave yourself a time buffer no fun in rushing through a ride and not being able to enjoy it

STR isn't about neck breakin'. We're mostly into shoulder breaks and dislocations!

Oh yeah and there IS bloodshed.

I have a quick question for all of you..

What are some other important things that I should buy? So far all I've got is the bike and a helmet.
