Default What's up

found through mtbr.com this site seems to be what i'm looking for: someone to ride with or group rides.

I just got back into biking with an entry level Kona hard tail I got myself 3 months ago. I just moved back to Arcadia but I still try to drive out to Marshall Canyon once a week. I tend to hit up Incycle while out there.

I'm going to try to join you guys on your Thursday rides once a month or so. I'd go tomorrow if it wasn't for my bday (24), might annoy the gf. Or my chain I took a pin out of.

anywho, see ya'll out there sometime

p.s. anyone ride marshal canyon that often? I know there's plenty riders out there, any on SCTR?

There's some marshall canyon folk around here. Gurp, cathy, sharky, and a few others. Post a ride and I bet you'll get decent turnout.

Welcome to the site!

Whereabouts is Marshall Canyon? Is it sandy and hot?

Welcome. Claremont Hills Wilderness Park is just up the road for me, so I do a quick lap or two there after work 3 or 4 times a week, and make it over to Marshall some too. A lot of folks out at that time of the day.

We have been riding there for 15+ years. Just did a short ride there on Monday. It was hot so we stayed off the fire roads. We usually park on Wheeler and Via DaMansion and ride in.

on the street? there's parking near the entrance? I usually just park at the park and ride in. I didn't think you could park on the street anywhere near there.

We park on the street under the trees next to the park then ride a block up then turn right to the entrance. There is no parking on the actual street where the entrance is.

and howdy. Marshall Canyon is a hoot to ride. I ride Marshall and hit up Potato Mountain fairly regularly. It would be fun to have some company on those rides.
