Default Newbie to Biking

Just want to give a quick shout out to everyone!

I'm new to California as well as biking. Any suggestions on a good trail for beginners as well as some strength and endurance training?

I will be biking through a few parts of Europe this summer so want to get familiar with my bike as well as get some technicals tricks down.

Thanks!

Where are you located? San Diego, LA, Orange County? Lots of good fire roads to go out and climb depending on where you are located

If we don't know where you are, we can't help you.

The Fullerton Loop is an easy one, but watch out for trees. They jump out into the middle of the trail. Especially that oak at the bottom of Mormon hill. There is a ride every Thursday at 6:45 there

Forgot to mention that I'm in the wonderful city veiled by a lovely layer of smog and watched over by angels...
