I just happened to stumble across STR and I am stoked to find it. Seems like you have a good group of people here. Anyways I just moved to Aliso Viejo about 4 months ago and I am digging that fact that it is about a mile ride from my front door to Aliso. Anyways if anyone is looking for a new riding buddy, Aliso is my normal stomping grounds, but I am game for just about anything.

I have a black Commencal Meta 5.40 with an RS Pike on it. I sometimes ride Friday afternoons and I have a weekly ride at 9:30 on Saturdays at Aliso. Going down Five Oaks tomorrow for the first time so that should be interesting. I am trying to find some after work riding buddies for mid week.

how do you like that bike so far? i'd love to hop on it for a test spin... i ride a giant reign, its baby blue with white wheels and fork so pretty hard to miss. say whats up if ya see me.

what time after work do you want to ride? I know of a couple night rides at the luge and at the fullerton loop. I am also looking to start riding more during the week. I was thinking about doing the luge monday and thursday nights around 7pmish

Welcome, I'll be at Aliso tomorrow. I get off work at about 8am, so I should be pedaling at 9 or so. I'll probably ride my Tomac F/S that is pictured in my signature. I ride during the week alot both mornings and late afternoons, hope to see you sometime.

Bikes been good so far doesn't bob at all climbing and comes down things well, but it has some unique things about the geometry, the most notable being a really short top tube (like 21.5" on a med. frame). Also I wasn't too pleased with the stock fork hence the RS Pike. You are welcome to take it for a ride any time, just let me know.

26'er Zen Master: I am get home from work around 5. But I don't have a light so I think the Luge @7 is out of the question, but thanks for the offer. I was hoping to find an Aliso ride around 5 or 6 mid week.
