Default Hello SoCal Trail Riders! Cool site!

Hi everyone...
my name is colette and I know some of you...this is a very cool site. Nicely done and what a great community!

I ride XC, and I love all bikes. I ride 26" and 29" wheels, gears and SS - whatever feels good for that day. I am always looking for people to ride with especially on the west side during the weekdays.

Anyway, it is nice to be here!

Hi trekker (pacman) yes lets do some rides!

Mechmann: yes we all need to get together again. With all the riding that you guys are doing I suspect you will be needing to wait up for me though!

TK: most likely you were way ahead of me on that ride - what bike were you on?

Shinkin: sure I'd love to get a ride together up this a way, anything in particular?

Impy, welcome aboard. I have never rode with you but I know of you from the MTBR Nor-Cal Forum and then the So-Cal Forum.

Welcome! And another West Sider too! We need to build up the west side contingent on this forum.

Hit me up if you want to meet up for a ride (or any other West siders, ya'll). I'm always going out and I know the Santa Monica trails pretty well. I do a night ride every Wednesday with a regular crew and I've been trying to get out at least one other time on a weekday. On weekends, of course, I ride at least one full day, usually more. I haven't made one of Jim's rides yet but I plan on it (Jim from Venice).

Cheers!

Don't you all need a "Fo" pass to ride on the westside?

Yessir I was testing it out that day. I remember your bike but if you walked up to me without a helmet or riding clothes I'd likely not pass the recognition test!

yay, west side!
My schedule is a little wacky the next 2 weeks although I am hoping for a little evening riding after this weekend. Once in a while I do a 6 am ride with some gal friends of mine but that doesn't always fit the schedule. So you must therefore go on a jim ride!

He's still a mystery man to me, I haven't gotten to meet the man nor the legend that is Fo. But I hear he has had more than one bike is that true?

Yep, grew up in Sonoma and Mendocino Counties.

Through Junior High and High School lived in Rincon Valley. One of my high school girlfriends grandparents, the McCarthys, owned Annadell before it was a State Park. Rode my old 10 speed Schwinn Varsity from Spring Lake to Lake Islanjo many times. Good childhood friends of Steve Ledson of Ledsons Marsh.

I am wanting to get up there again to MTB. I hear that there are some new trails up on Mt. Hood/Sugarloaf area.
