Pack items for everyride :

Cell phone ( set on vibrate )
Spare tube and/or patch kit
Pump
mini-tool and tire levers
Some food item (powerbar)
More water than you think you would need.

You can ride one hour in to find a four hour hike out with a flat tire or mechanical.
