Welcome. Titus Rules! I'm in love with the Racer-X. My wife hates it...
You got yourself a great bike. If you are looking for trails to ride you should also check out geoladders.com. There are hundreds of routes with directions all gps'd and mapped out for you. You can also schedule rides, or sign up for other scheduled rides. It's another good site for us SoCal mountainbikers. This site is the best, of course. Cheers, |

Thanks for the welcomes. I've been lurking here for a few months and decided to pull the trigger on the Titus a few weeks ago, so I decided to sign up. I'm not very bicycle fit yet and don't want to hold anyone back on a ride. I'll probably wait a while before joining a group ride. I don't think I'm going to race even though I do race around on a Racer X.

Don't worry about holding anybody up. That's why we have the group rides is to get together and just take our time. We also have those crazy fast rides (See post by VonKipper or DuketheNuke) either way though you'll have fun if you join us.

I went to Revo and didn't care for the lack of service in the form of the salesperson treating me like a dumb blonde. Why are so many male bike shop employees a-holes? Is it a prerequisite? The people at Speedgoat were very friendly, more than helpful and got me rolling on the bike I wanted at a good price. Off to ride Chino Hills in the heat now. TC
