from Rancho Bernardo. Looks like the SD riding posse is a bit defunct these days - but hopefully we can get our Sh*t together and round up some folks for a good ride. Hope to see you out there soon.

I hope we can get a bigger MTB scene in SD guess well see. I'm always up for riding, see ya guys around!

I've been riding on the road to train for the track. Last time I was on the MTB I got pwnd by a set of stairs. My wrist still hurts from that.

So that's where I've been.

Welcome from Rancho Bernardo. Lots of great trails in SD County (of all varieties). Some of the best anywhere IMHO.

If you're just starting out check Mission Trails, Lake Hodges, Daily Ranch, PQ Canyon, Calaveras, and Sycamore Canyon. Nobel is one of the best but you might want to train up to it first.

We're all still here. We stopped posting rides cuz no one ever showed. Well, rarely anyway.

A few did. Some other guys just stopped posting. But then again, they don't ride much lately anyway.

I stopped posting rides for several reasons. Mainly, it was:

--I had people RSVP "yes" and then not show. No big deal, but we waited a good 10-15 minutes out of courtesy and then after the no-show, we left late. I even started posting "we ride at 9AM--SHARP" for example. We would then get people showing up right at that time, causing the group to be late.

--I actually caught crap for posting up a weekly ride at a local easy/lame/tame/beginner trail. I was clear on the point that the main reason I rode there was due to time constraints. I still got $h!t for it anyway. Of course, that issue appears to have resolved itself.

These are just a couple of the reasons for me. Eventually, I just got sick of it and stopped posting rides altogether. Mind you--I'm not whining or complaining here at all. I've seen a couple posts here the last couple days, wondering where all the SD rides went. So, here are my reasons.
