Default As the name implies

I've only been mtn biking for about 3 months (and 2 bikes later) and am looking for some new trails outside the RSM area. Im currently a fat guy (although extremely good looking) and want to find an area I could move onto with out killing myself. Ive been riding Live Oak up to Vista and down the Aroyo without killing myself so I feel I need to see something new. Any suggestions??

Welcome aboard. Down in Laguna there's Aliso Woods, Laguna Wilderness Park and El Moro. Wait until mid to late July and Whiting Ranch will open back up. There are a LOT of riders here that ride in your area. Just look for rides posted all over the place. See you on the trails

Hey - sounds like you're an RSM local like me. Maybe for the next step try going down Vista if you haven't done that yet.

You could try Aliso-Wood Canyon or the Tijeras Creek Loop.

Check Geoladders for some nice routes.

Also, Whiting Ranch will be opening next month and that will give you some nice options.

Here's an option for Limestone Canyon which is a docent-led group Beginner Ride

The is a multitude of trails in your area, a nice easy loop for a noob would be up bell ridge, down yeager, then up Trabuco and down pinos (piece of cake).

If you like to waste gas check out Taco Tuesdays above Peters, just a quick trip down the Toll Road.

Tijeras Loop is my fav right now. Especially the single track through Vietname!!!! Gotta love the creek crossings. Hope to see you out there
