Default Hello STR!

Hello everyone. My name is Duke and I reside in Whittier, CA. I ride Turnbull, Fully loop, and whatever I can get to.
I ride a GF X-Cal 29er and a Jamis XAM 1.0 (currently disassembled like Johnny 5). I ride XC and whatever I can get into at the moment. The GF is more for health and the Jamis is for rugged fun. I ride road part time as I do the MS150 Bay to Bay 100 mile ride. This will be my 2nd year doing it and it wont be the last. There is no dirt on that ride, but I make up for it bunny hooping train tracks on the road bike.
My Sister in law along with my wife did the clinic ride this past weekend at the Irvine park. That is how I was introduced to this site. My wife loved that fact that there are many women into the sport and that she wasn't alone.
I appreciate that you all made her feel welcome and the trainer on the beginner ride was very nice and explained things well. Thank you. When the ladies went for their rides, I went for a ride myself with my brother and we instantly fell in love with the peters canyon trail and we look forward to riding the 4 Bs and more in the area. Well, I just noticed that I have many black ants on me from my gardening. Time to shower and kill these buggers. late.

I have heard that there is a Thursday night ride.
If there is, what time and is it the figure 8?

see Brewmaster's post above. The groups are getting bigger as the summer goes on. About 30-40 people on the social lap at 6:45

That "fast" lap starts at 5PM.

1st lap meets at 4:45pm rolls at 5pm SHARP! (*Brisk Pace). Very little re-group with an average lap time of 1 hr 15 min.
You are expected to keep up.
