Default Lookie, another new guy

New person to the board. My co-worker and SHARE prez, Punky got me into MTBing a lot this year and made me buy this 29er single speed. I love it.

I'm a big motorcycle guy. I've been riding since I was 12 and work in the motorcycle industry. I raced a Suzuki SV650 for a couple years with the clubs here in CA. It was a fun hobby, but mucho expensive. Now I just do track days on a GSX-R 600 (and ride it to work every day 'cause it gets 40mpg).

I did the Xterra duathlon this year. Never done a duathlon before or a MTB race before. It was super hard because it was so hot out there this year, over 90 degrees during the race. I finished first in the 30-34 yr old bracket, though. The fast guys were in the 35-39 brack and I wouldn't have podiumed in the 40-44 bracket, either. Older guys are fast.

See ya on the trails.

Haha. I'm everywhere, Tom! You can't hide on the interweb from me.

And shouldn't you be at work, or do you have internet access at the deli, now?
