Smile Hello, I'm Brand New to STR.
Just signed up here at STR. I've been riding for about 3 years or so and last year discovered the Geoladders website and a fellow rider at Santiago Oaks sent me here. This is a great resource and I can't wait to meet some other bikers here. All my friends are either hurt, moving, starting grad school etc. right now so I have nobody to ride with. I was riding Marshall Canyon by myself and crashed and broke my collarbone. As I already knew, riding alone is just not wise so I was pleased to discover STR. I have been riding 3-4 times a week against Dr's orders and have no pain so I'm ready for a group STR ride but I have to go slow on downhill and rutty sections. Anyone wanna do Blackstar Beek's or show me a new trail? :-)

i am sure there will be many people here ready to show you around. i am still kinda new, and i have gotten alot of good guided rides...

you will definately enjoy it here...

Thanks for the welcome! If anybody decides they need a riding partner on short notice I will usually drop whatever I'm doing to go ride if possible. (I'm sure you all do the same lol!)

Hey Mike -
Too bad you missed the STR Marshall Canyon ride we had a couple months ago. 105 STR riders total on the trail that morning. Awesome gathering. Welcome and see you out there soon. And yes, I'd love (its a love/hate thing....) to hit BlackStar again sometime soon. I've only been up there twice and want to hit more trails like Holy Jim, etc. Later!
