Hey everyone, i have been on MTBR for a while and kept meaning to check out STR, i finally did and i like it. I am in SD and been mountain biking since the early 80's. I am glad to still be here mostly intact. I will try to keep the rants to a minimum and not be too self absorbed
Currently i ride a Spec. Enduro SL with a couple tweaks to it to make it my own, great bike. I am always down to work on trails, especially if there is free beer after . Anyway, i just wanted to say hi. Hi. |

I find myself in PQ a lot, i usually do cobbles to powerline down tunnels (rockinghorse) up Diadora and back down and around to the sh*ts (did some trail work there a couple weekends ago)
I live right above Tecolote canyon (literally) so im in there almost every day petting the coyotes I likey Noble a lot, and have seen parts of it from the air several times (and my face has seen the ground and gravel there close up too, it seems my face does indeed have greater rolling resistence then my tires!) I used to ride ATT nuf said about that one Cuyamaca, sycamore, etc... Where do you like to ride? |

Diadora is one of the other tunnels that i ride up from the bottom of rockinghorse, it is frontside not across the creak. It used to have a diadora shoe hanging off a tree at the start but i think the shoe has been gone for a while.
As for the bqq, sadly i couldn't make it because because my much better half had already volunteered my time to baby sit that afternoon (for someone elses baby) while she got her nails done. I think it was one of those subtle hints that her friend told her to try..."If he tries it he may like it" type of thing. I was like "baby it's not freakin spinach...i've got beers to drink" Didn't work, so me and the little pooh jockey got to stare at each other for the next 3 hours. |

![]() I love hearing everyone's names for the trails at Tunnels. Pretty funny. Our group usually refers to them by the order we found them in. Did anyone ever see the huge pink and yellow lion with the big grin on its face that was up in one of the trees a few months back? Our group saw it once and then the next week it was gone. Pretty funny to come around a bend at night and see this big @$$ neon lion grinning at you.
