Default Noob in Buena Park

Hello all,

I am just getting back into riding. I bought a Hardrock a few years back, rode for a few months and then it sat in the garage for about a year and a half. I mainly ride Fully loop, but am hoping to get out to other spots.

Love the site, especially the positive energy from everyone.

Anyways I look forward to seeing y'all passing me by.

Brion

Hello from Buena Park!
The Marshal Canyon ride would be a great ride to join in.
Also, join in on some of the Thursday and Saturday Fullerton Loop rides and you'll meet some really cool people.

Buena Park trivia: Did you know that Buena Park Bike Shop used to be called Pete's Schwinn back in the 70s? One of the relatives of Pete - Cindy - still works there some 30 years later. I've never heard of anyone working at a bike shop for so long. She's a really cool, too.

Lee,

I've lived here since '79 when I was 5 years old. I don't remember Pete's, but I do remember from my childhood, when it was called BP Schwinn. What I remember most about that store back in the day was the floor. Everyone's shoes would squeak from walking. They kept a nice wax on that floor.

I was in there the other day and saw Cindy. I was shocked that she was still there. I haven't been in there since I was a kid.

Unfortunately, I have prior commitments this weekend. I went out on the Loop today around 11, and had some tube issues. I am planning on making some pressure adjustments with a new tube and tire. I will try and make it next week.

Pugz,

I'd really like to make it but, I'm still trying to get my bike dialed in. I'm to cheap to take it to a LBS, and I'm up for the challenge/frustrations of trying to work on it. Have fun out there, and hopefully I can catch the next one.
