yea, i have been looking into it... man, all the pieces are like $200 bucks for regular items... wheels, brakes, shifter, misc items... that means i will lean towards a used bike... i am going to try to hit up a bike store to check out the sizes may be tomorrow...

i just found out about the newbie meets... i think it will be good for me and my GF... i hope i can get a bike soon!

got so excited, took my girlfriend out for a cruise tonight. i got my super old bike, i am talking my first mountain bike from the fedco days... my dad used it... put like 5 pouches on it.. and a drink holder..., and fixed it back up...

changed the tires, changed the tubes, cleaned up alittle everywhere...

as soon as i was done, told the girl to get ready cause we were set to go!

so, needless to say, my trusty old bike did make it back... but, both derailer setups are no good any more, i think the cable snapped and more... so i was stuck on a simple gear the whole time. but, it was okay since we were just cruising around the block.

yea, biking is going to be so fun with her. she loves her new bike... she is suprised how fast she can go... may be by 1-2 weeks, i think i can put her on dirt... she can already go down curbs... hoping she can learn to go up small curbs soon...

all in all, a great first cruise! i am going to shoot for aliso in a week and a half may be...
