Surf 'n' Trail Rat

Hello from Laguna Beach
This would seem to be the moment for me to introduce myself to the STR community. My name is Art and I live in Laguna Beach. I was introduced to mountain-biking in the Bay Area in 1985 and participated in the sport avidly for a number of years. Now, after 15 years away (surfing is the sport I love most), i'm getting back into it. Much has changed! One thing that has not changed is the exhilaration of a good ride. At any rate, i'd like to take this opportunity to say 'Hello' to you all.

Nice, welcome Art. I did it the other way. Surfed for 30 years and now just bike. Glad to have you aboard.

I have know Art for a number of years, glad he decided to join the site and get some rides in with us. His girlfriend is a new to MTBing and maybe they will join us on some newbie rides.
