Default Hello fellow bike enthusiasts

Hello fellow bike enthusiasts. Came across this community thanks to Jensonusa. I'm new and would like to introduce myself. Most of my riding is paved. I consider my speed on paved roads to be slow, even slower on dirt, but I've been told I go too fast for some.

Bikes:
GT Outpost with Xtracycle, xt tandem wheels
Schwinn Paramountain 1987 (Ned Overend Edition)
Nishiki Alien (1989) [with 2.5" Hookworm tires]
Univega Alpina Uno c.1986
Specialized Crossroads 700c (early 1990s)
Motiv Motiv8or 700c (early 1990s)
GT Pantera (early 1990s) Aluminum
GT Talera (early 1990s)
Schwinn Super Sport (ladies) 1972 (hand made fillet brazed frame)
Schwinn Sports Tourer 1974 (hand made fillet brazed frame)
Schwinn Super Le Tour 1984
KHS Turbo c.1985
GT Interceptor BMX (early 90s?)Wizwheels Trike 2005

I am still anxiously waiting for the new Surly Big Dummy. Gotta scrape together the money for the frame when it comes out, already been buying the components.

aboard!!

Where in the IE are you?

When I was in high school, I wanted a GT Pantera so bad, but didn't have the money. Can you help me with my trip down memory lane and post a pic of yours? That was a sweet bike back in the day (still is I'm sure).

If you ever want to sell it, you know where to find me.

Well if you ever want to go slow on dirt we should plan a ride, on uphills I am so slow it looks like I am rolling backwords!

Welcome!!

Impressive stable of bikes - I love lugged steel bikes. If I tried to keep that many bikes in my house/garage I'd be single all over again, so I keep my collection to a minimum and the wife happy (she needs room for her bikes too )

Welcome from a fellow noob in SD
