Default Greetings and Salutations

What's up STR. Been lurking for a while and decided it's time to join the crew. Great site. If anyone knows any good rides in the High Desert, let me know, or anything within a couple hours drive. Much appreciated.

Welcome. I think Destroyer is in Hesperia. You should hook up with him.

What part of the high desert? We have a good size group up there now.

Welcome aboard. When you find good riding in the high desert let us know. I spend time at my sisters in Pinon Hills and the only local riding I have done is the stuff around Wrightwood in the San Bernardinos.

I live in Victorville. The only decent singletrack I have found out here is in Wrightwood, Blue Ridge Trail, and last summer I found some pirate trails in the Big Bear area. Can't afford to get busted riding those and I try to stay legal for the mtb image. Other than that, I ride the fire road that starts at Hwy 138 and goes up to the top of the pass or go out to Silverwood lake and ride near Pilot Rock fire camp.

Just moved to OC, so don't know the local desert rides - BUT now that I'm closer to UT, definitely planning to make a trip to Gooseberry Mesa. Heard it's ~2hrs drive past Las Vegas.

I know lots of good trails if you don't mind coming over the hill to the Inland Empire.
