Making fun of Dino (just kidding).
I was dropped from a ride and decided I wanted to become fast and I really love the sport. You have to have fun can't have anyone pushing you. I think if someone feels to much pressure they may not enjoy it as much as others. I don't really know I am only 12 years old. And you really have to like the bike you ride. Julia |

Julia, you are a riding stud and a nice young lady. It is always fun riding with you. You are mature beyond your years. Welcome, though you've been part of STR for a long time.

While everyone else stood there gawking at Donny's shredded derailleur hanger on The Loop last Sunday, Julia was the first to whip out her chain tool so he could try to make it SS.
She doesn't strike me as a typical 12 year old on a ride. She's a complete rider just like everyone else and handles that Liquid like a pro. Keep up the good work. Seeing this girl on the podium will be no surprise to me. All that and a soccer player too? ![]() Welcome to the board Julia. |

![]() Julia and her Mother joined a "beginner" ride at ALISO (another group). The group DROPPED them.... as darkness began to fall... on a trail they were unfamiliar with! She made a promise to herself- THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN! ![]() For those who have not ridden with her- she is an exceptionally gifted athlete! She is a good kid. If she decides racing is for her- she will excel! Hate to say it- she is also faster/stronger than 70% of the members of STR! And *NO* I am not joking!

Welcome Julia! I rode with you and your mom at the ride with your kid day at Irvine Park last year. It's really cool to see young people getting into a positive sport like mountain biking. Hope to see you and your mom on the trails soon!

It is so nice to see the youth of today is not as lost as the media makes it seem. How great it is to see someone as young as Julia with a good head on her shoulders(I am sure it can be chalked up to good parenting). Man, I sound like my dad, when did I inherit the talk like an old person gene. Anyway, welcome aboard Julia, keep it up. Later.

If I recall correctly, there's actually 8 bits in 1 byte so 4 bits = 1 nibble. Sorry, that's the computer nerd in me talking. I return you to your regularly scheduled program.
