Used to race DH at Big Bear / Mommoth - quit once they closed Snow Summit. Bought a KTM motorcycle and haven't peddled a bicycle ever since. Won a few races and walked away with the overall and a few second overalls in the Am Cup DH Series. Did the Foesracing.com website for quite a few years, until they hired some douche with bad breath to replace Curtis (Anybody know what happened to Curtis???)
Looking to buy a good all round rig like an 07 Specialized Enduro Elite or Kona Coiler. (Tight budget for the first bike) I'll go big on the next one, Santa Cruz, Ventana, Foes, Intense are all to my liking. I worked for Irvine Bike Source and Adrenaline Bikes for years as well. I still know the guys at Adrenaline Bikes and a few of the guys over at the Path bike shop (can't believe how much they've grown WOW) I hope to actually pull the trigger on a new bike TODAY over at the Path. See you guys around! Wheezy Todd ![]() |

I'm test riding a few bikes through the shop before I buy. Seems the smart way to go. I fell in love 200 times today at the shop. I'm totally indecisive at this point.
Never used to have this problem back in the day. New Foes every year was a no brainer. |

I haven't laughed that hard in a few weeks. Thanks Dave.
Dude, that ProFlex Animal circa 1995... I can't believe I'm still alive after some of the things I did with that bike. What Dave didn't tell you guys is that while I am guilty of selling him a Girvin fork (did it have elastomers?) What I bought with the money was no better. A super bitchen RST Hi-5. Ya, all elastomer fork, upgraded with coil springs... Ohhhh Yaaa. OK... Proflex Beast, RST Hi-5 - Tunnel Trail in SB with IBS crew all on Foes DH rigs.... GOOD TIMES MAN! I was left to die on that trail. Might as well have had a pogo stick with a wheel on the end of it. It's a good thing I drove that day! |

We might go shuttle this Saturday on San Juan to help determine a bike for wheezy if anyone is interested. I'll post something in the calendar as soon as figure out where we're riding.
