... My name is Chris. I was invited here by 2wheel_lee and have lurked for a few weeks.
I went on a Thursday Fully ride a week or so before Christmas and really enjoyed the group. Seems like a great atmosphere here (except for Dino and his Iron Horse).

I have had several bikes since the age of 4 much like many of you. I have sold several bikes and have got out of the scene many times, but somehow bikes keep finding their way back into my posession. I am finally accepting the fact that I belong on two wheels.

I don't have a lot of history like several of you but have done some NORBA racing (10 or so years ago) and countless days and nights riding BMX growing up.
Now that I am definitely into my 30 somethings I am also accepting the fact that I have to keep my body moving. I love the feeling of conquering a tough hill or slipping my way through a tight single track (get yer dang minds out of the gutters, you pervs

).

Enough of the BS...
I look forward to Thursday nights and whatever else I may run with my new family.

Before that first ride, you sounded very concerned that you weren't going to be able to keep up with the group. As it turned out, despite your lapse in riding, you could have easily kept up with the fast guys. Like they say, you never forget how to ride a bike!

Oh by the way, make room in the garage or living room...you hang out here long enough, and you'll surely establish a herim of bikes...XC bike, singlespeed, DH bike, freeride bike, 29er, BMX bike, etc.

Chris- What Lee was trying to say was he and I are looking forward to seeing you on Thursday! To repeat, LEE and I are quite pleased you will be joining US on Thursday! LEE should be there by 6:30.

Inside joke: Rumor has it Lee is considering skipping the ride tomorrow!
