What part of the bay are you from? Some of my relatives are from the San Jo, San Carlo, Mountain View, and Frisco area.

The Lake Hodges photos I took were from a super small 6mp Panasonic point and shoot. My DLSR is too heavy to take on most rides unless taking pictures is the main goal.....

Good luck Offroadie if you decide to take the jump!
I have a Canon A560 point and shoot, but I'm kind of paranoid that I'm going to crash and break it mountain biking. Take often take in on road rides.

Do you have a website where you post your photos?
Wow someone still using paper and chemicals! How retro!

I have a 4x5 enlarger with a cold head I'd let you have for cheap if you're interested...but really you should probably just go digital.

I suggest Canon cameras from there pro cameras I use like the 1dsMk3 and Mk2 to the happy-snappy bike-friendly SD1000....you can't go wrong.

As far as posting photos, alot of people like Flickr

Good luck!

I moved down from Walnut Creek in the East Bay Area. Lived about 2 mi from Mount Diablo State Park with miles and miles of trails. I hadn't lived until decended down the slope of that rocky 4000 ft peak even though it nearly killed me. While I miss the old rides and familiar trails it's pretty cool getting to explore another great MTB area. This state is full of them, California rocks!

Great website, is some of this your work? I really like the wide angle stuff in the Stock section. I can't think of a better job right now than getting to take pictures of cars all day (well besides one other curvy subject)
