Default New SS to STR

Hey guys my name is Taylor Bushnell. I moved from Eugene Oregon in August to go to grad school down here. I ride a 29er single speed and some road as well. Time is my biggest issue but I am down for rides on the weekend.

Welcome. There are plenty of other 29er SS crazies around here. You'll fit right in. Where are you living down here?

Check out some of the rides posted in the Trailhead forum.

Welcome Taylor!

When you say "down here" can you be more specific? We have members from the SD/Mex border all the way up to NorCal, though most are in LA/OC/SD.

I'll probably be racing my SS at Fontana this weekend. You should come check out the race, if you're into that sort of thing. Be a good chance to meet some other STR members!

P.S. Wanna trade places...I'd like to go up to Eugene for a while

I am living in UTC area of San Diego, and thanks for the warm welcome. I go to school up in Rancho Bernardo so maybe I can hook up on some rides that way. My bike is in horrible shape and need to find some cranks. I have been running XTR 950 cranks spiderless with a Jericho ring. The Jericho ring is dead after lots of racing including a 12 hour race and a 100 miler. So if anyone has a decent set of cranks that they are willing to sell for cheap, till then I can't really ride hard. As for doing races I would like to, yet I think I need to be a little fruggle with my money for now.

The SD Crew continues to grow more and more everyday!! We're taking over--today San Diego, tomorrow THE WORLD!!!

Quite a few of us post regular rides, so there's a decent amount of weekly rides.

Just because you're an STR newb, don't let that stop you from posting up rides too!! Post 'em up and let's get the SD rides going!!

I can not stress this enough--even if it's a last second/spur of the moment ride or a ride you think no one else would be interested in, post it up anyway. You never know who might be interested or who will be able to show.

Stay involved and don't be a stranger!!

We live in UTC, too!

When we get back to normal after all this "weather" you'll have to join us on our Thurs night ride if you can.

Or, we're probably heading out for a ride tomorrow.

I would consider that LA (hey, didn't want to overwhelm the poor guy with acronyms )

Okay, so

LA/OC/SD/IE

Nah.. IE is nowhere near LA. Parts, maybe.. but for us? We are closer to SD.

Though...we do get LA news Which is fine, except when we don't get to see Charger games that are blacked out. Too close.
