No humidity is good. One of the hardest races I did was the Wildern101. 90+ degrees with 90% humidity. Holy shit that sucked. Good news is I was so dehydrated that 2 beers got me buzzed pretty good

Bad thing about no humidity is that the heat sneeks up on you real quick.One minute you're coolly cruising along and the next you feel like the sun is between you and your camelback!I know what you mean about high humidity.One year in Vietnam and 2 1/2 years stationed in Louisianna and Texas made me appreciate living on the left coast.You'll definately love the beer here.Think Stone IPA.

hey guys, dusting off this thread. Finally got my marching orders. I'll be out there on March 3rd or so. Need to get some base miles in. Hoping to do tons of road stuff. Just signed up for The Traverse Race. So I need to get in shape.

welcome! you should push for March 1 and come out to witness the Warrior Society's Vision Quest and Counting Coup Events going on. Would be worth the early trip!
