New to STR

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=3]This site looks like a great resource and I wanted to introduce myself. I stumbled across STR googling Orange County MTB groups.[/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=3]I’m brand new to Mountain Biking. I was thinking about buying a road bike and I became intrigued with MTB talking to “Lare-Dog” from WS at work. I bought a 2006 Stumpjumper FSR Comp a few weeks ago to try out the sport and really enjoy the riding. I’m fortunate because I live literally right on the Tijeras Creek Loop trail in RSM so all my riding so far has been limited to that route.[/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=3]I signed up for my first organized “ride” recently. I’m going to try the 25 mile portion of the 50 mile “Rwanda Ride” on the 29th. It should be interesting.[/SIZE][/FONT]
