New here- Looking for Palm Desert riders

Hi All,
I just moved to Palm Desert from Colorado. I’ve managed to find a couple areas with some single track on my own so far, but I’d love to have some buddies or groups to ride with around here! Please think of me if anyone in this area is looking for a riding partner. I like technical tight single track XC and can usually keep up with most. -Randy

There are a few crazy rides out there!

Idyllwild is just up the hill from you also, so if the weather is good there's always Hurkey Creek, Thomas Mountain, and more.



We'll be out your way over Christmas, but will be sticking to the road for convenience.

There is a ride posted for Dec. 23rd for the Palm/Pinyon cyn ride. I haven't done this ride yet myself, but am told it's a must do ride. I may make it on the 23rd.

Where you from in Colorado?, I use to hang in Telluride for 11 years.

Colorado to Palm Desert! Talk about your extreme climate and environment changes... What made you move?

I grew up in Palm Desert. Loved it. I'm extending an invitation to Big Bear after the snow melts in order to keep ypu from feeling too homesick for Colorado.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! And for the heads up on trail names. Sounds like I lucked out. One of the places I'm staying at is a few minutes away from Idylwild, so I'll definitely be looking for those trails! I bet the snow up there won't be around for too long considering that I'm wearing shorts in December! I'm looking forward to the Pinyon ride on the 23rd too.
I quit my job in CO and moved here to be near a sick family member, so I have lots of time to ride until employment finds me again....
