cause i was lame, seriously. no really good reason whatssoever. i put a lot of time/money into the huckler. she was a great bike, took her on many long excursions in the santa anas and even rode her during the 24hrs of OC race.

i sold it, bought a 29er s/s as my only bike and soon sold that and bought a Kona Coiler, sold that and ended up with my Kona Dawg....and then bought a Santa Cruz Superlight (used 04').

Have you ever ridden Deer Springs?
Not too many places around here to ride after the rains, but deer springs is a great draining d.g. trail....not too technical, but not too bad.

Deer Springs road at the 15....I mostly ride there after the rains for a couple reasons.
1. Not many other close areas to ride in proper condition,
B. It handles it very well..(drains)
3. Great traction
C. It's close

I always meant to ride Deer Springs and never got around to it. A buddy of mine showed me where it was and showed me some pics, It looked pretty cool. Honestly, I forgot about riding it.

We should get a group ride going out there.....next month when I'm able to ride again that is.

Another great bike. I have an '03 Superlight. Still ride that once in a while but the Heckler I just got a few months ago. I love SC and the single-piviot. I rebuild my SL twice in less than 30 minutes. Both are holding up great for this clyde.

I'm thinking about getting GH3. I have a friend with it on his 360. I found out they have it for Wii and might need to get it. Seems like a great party game...

I used to night ride there all the time with some bubbs from the Supergone in O'side. We would ride in from Esco' at 9 at night. It was F'in cold but the terrain was fun. I'd love to go back in there and hit up "Glenn Berman" in the daytime.

When I was looking for a new frame last year, my goals were to find something strong, simple, and effective. I had no idea when I chose this frame how close to the mark I hit. I'm still super stoked on this frame after almost 2 years. I usually tire if things sooner than that.

I'm going to get the PS-2 version for the kids....and of course rule it. But I would like to see it come out for the PS3 cause then I could totally rock-out in high def and surround sound pumping hundreds if watts of monster jams into my neighbors fragile ears.....yeeeeeaaahhhhh!

Your right about the chill factor man, early morning rides in the winter are sometimes painfully cold...just for a lil' bit though. Never did a night ride there, was always kind of spooked thinking of riding there at night.

I miss Supergo
