You know I love me my Los Robles / Space Mountain, but after not riding Tapia for a month and a half, I'm really happy to have that as my 'home trail'. Strange how the video tends to minimize the up & down nature of trails, but still fun to see our turf on a video. Nicely done. Tell Ben to slow that thing down...

Our locals ran out of ammo about 12:15.

Rode Tapia today with Ben. We got an early start and wrapped up the ride by 9:30. Home by 10, wife happy...

We were going to do two loops but Ben spotted the new singletrack and we followed it out. Nice XC type addition to the area for sure. Im working on the videos, will post later

Mordy,

Glad you could make it and get a ride in. Thanks for joining us. As Jeff said, No One left behind. However two three or four is another story.

We had a really good turn out today, the usual suspects and characters, plus some bonus riders in Randall, Mordy and the ever cool Jimmy Mac joined us for some single speed, no suspension Mountain Bike Action on a test ride with a Haro... He's still a Hi Torque guy according to JeffJ. It looked like he was running a 32/16 or 32/17 combo, and grinding it out Hammerfest style standing on the pedals for the climbs. At 55, Jimmy still "has it"... he's a goater, for sure.

JeffJ, where's that linky for the Bacon Weave sausage &BBQ sauced handroll?

Mordy, You did fine today. You are always welcome to ride with us at what ever pace suits you. As long as you are getting out, having fun, and riding, that's the most important part... pace is what you want or need to make it, on social rides, it's never a problem.
