The Copper Hill Ride is scheduled for Wednesday Dec 24th, on Christmas Eve. Meet at Brett's, bring your lights, Brett will assist in setting up the ride start time, depending on peoples schedules.
JeffJ also discussed a Christmas dinner burn ride around Space Mountain or there abouts for Friday, day after Chirstmas. All of these rides are conditional upon weather and rain/snow conditions.
Winter is here, and today's ride was weather wise as nice as can be. JeffJ's daughter is a goater, for sure, spanked me hard on the climb, leaving me in her frozen dust. I tried to keep her in sight, but the girl's got major Goat talent on the climbs, total masher... A reminder that being 50 definitely slows you down. And that inter collegiate bike athletes that race deal crushing times to mine. I sucked a paltry 53:48 to the entrance of Viper, the results of sore legs, running on 1 Clif Bar and a cup of coffee, this being my 4th day in a row of riding, trying to play make up for all the rain and snow last week that I couldn't ride in.
