When fellow riders have mechanicals, it doesn't make the ride unpleasant for me (unless insects are eating me alive while we are stopped, which they weren't), it just makes it different

@ddmansprty: Consider me there for Sunday at the customary 6:00am, but not on Saturday as climbing that hill two days in a row would be suicide (for me anyways). I'm actually feeling a little nostalgic, so I'm going to go see if I can find Happy Trails, the trail that got me hooked on this horrible, horrible addiction. From what I remember, it's a short fun loop and it'd be interesting to see how much different it'd be now that I have a few rides under my belt.

So, I guess see you (and anyone else who's up for dawn patrol) Sunday, 6am at the San Fernando PNR.

On my way out... hopefully 2 steps ahead of rush hour traffic up Balboa to the I-5.

well i just got home and the wife informed me she had a really bad day with the little one(being very annoying) so i'm gona give her the rest of the day to herself and we will see if i can make it out, cuz i know if it were me i would want my stickers like last week

I am still down for a Sunday morning Pinetos ride. Don't worry about that!

Saturday I am dropping my car off at a shop on Lyons Ave. at 7:00 am. I was possibly going to try to ride from there to camp 9. The shop is about 3 miles from the San Fernando PNR. OR, I was just going to ride home for the shop, which is an incredibly flat, city bike path. I figure that I would hit the PNR around 7:30 am if you were up for two ascents up your favorite hill. I am flexible and don't have to shoot for camp 9 this week. I can't get my bike in for repair until next week, so I want to make sure I get as much riding in as I can this weekend.

hey jeff we could do it from my side but......right off the bat to get to the main fireroad it's a hike and bike up a very sandy and steep fireroad with a major empasis on HIKE, and on the way back it's a real grinder/walk up a fire road towards the end of the ride, which is no fun, so going up tapia is no problem for me. besides when the ride is all done its a nice leasurely stroll back to the car. awwwwwww crap, just got off the phone with the wife and she has a client at 5pm so it looks like im out for tonight, damit all to hell, if you let me know what time you guys are gona meet i could run out there with the little one and drop off the stickies.

I thought Sunday was dawn patrol in Pinetos?

And not to sound like a broken record, but what's on for Saturday? For Saturday? For Saturday?
