Default In Memory....

Thought I would start a thread where we could post some pics of our now changed forever wilderness. I just recently rode to old Camp and took photos on the way up. I NEVER take pictures I am so glad I did....

I know the fires were caused by an unnatural act (arson) but the reality is all this would of probably burned 3 or 4 times in the last 30 years or so, but with homes threatened we have to put them out. People, fires are a natural act in SoCal. All this will grow back and the reality is it will probably be closer to what it is supposed to be. Take heart it will all be back before you know it. There is still beauty there.

Thanks for the pictures. While the thought of the fires made me sad, your pictures also brought back some wonderful memories!

P.S.- I like the GREEN bike..... want my "friend" to buy one! Who makes it?

Was cleaning up the hard drive and came across several old photos I'd forgotten about. Saw this thread, and thought I'd share a couple.

From a hike back in '04:

Exactly. It may take a while (all relative), but it will be back, and maybe different – better. Tuff right now because it keeps us off so many trails, but given time – a whole new playground for us!

BTW, good riding out here in the Santa Monica’s. Damp the past few nights means low dust. Was out yesterday, and heading out in a few again (Sullivan / Backbone / Will Rodgers)!

Come out to the 310.

I dunno, aren't they made in Taiwan or somewhere?
