Harden The F*** Up!!
![]() |
Lake Hodges was totally devastated by the SD fires. I know it's not gone forever, but it will be quite awhile before it's "back to normal" and it will be forever different from how we knew it. It was the trail for the weekly Tuesday Night ride and one of the first trails I ever rode. Rest in peace. I'll miss you while you're gone...

Quest: Singletrack

Great pics! Hodges is where I cut my teeth as a MTB'er long ago. Sad to see it in such a state, but it will return.
Drove by there yesterday and the devastation to RB is sad to see. I worked there for five years and know the area well. God give those folks strength in their time of need! |

This is not the first time Hodges has burned and probably not the last. It has been a while though.
The landscape and lines will be changed forever.... some things will be better and some things you will miss but we all have great memories of previous rides there. I grew up on the trails of Hodges and Bernardo Mt. and have seen it go though so many different stages of use and popularity that this will be just one more stage. Here is looking to the future and the great rides that are to come. |
