Default Looking for riders in the Bakersfield area!

I'm trying to find some new peeps to ride with. My poor wife just doesn't enjoy the trails as much as I do. Anyone in my area that is down to ride? Thanks in advance.

Man blong Gaua (Dan) has been working up in Bakersfield the last few weeks and will be up there for two or three weeks more. He has been bringing his bike. (He's the guy in my avatar, btw) Maybe PM him...

I'll try to look him up. I'm assuming that you have contact with him as well, maybe let him know that I'll be contacting him. Thanks.

Default Kern river valley

There is a group of rider in the Lake Isabella/Kernville area that ride pretty much every weekend. There are even guys from Bakersfield that join in once in a while.

We just started an email group to organize local rides. Check out the link in my signature.

Also check out SSFTA (http://ssfta.com/). They do group rides in Bakersfield.

What kind of riding do you like?

Have you checked this thread? We're going to be up at Camp Nelson, just outside Bakersfield this weekend. You should come ride with us.

Yeah I am a SSFTA member and check the site as often as I can. I weekly rides they have start at 6, and I don't have any lights.

So far I've been riding XC, but am still new to the game and haven't tryed anything else. I've done the Kernville Classic trail a couple of times and really liked it. Tons of fun. I'll be sure to check out your link. Let me know when you guys ride again, I'll try to make it up that way.

Thanks Shannon,
I checked it out, don't know if I'll be able to make it though as I have some other plans and don't know if I can get out of it. I'll try to hit up the next one.
