The money is for Mark and the Guinness is for you guys for putting this donation thing together. Glad to help out when I can.

I also have a set of lights (Niterider Classic Plus Halogen) that Mark can borrow for as long as he wants, just let me know.

Jeff what if he said I want to borrow the light forever, until I die. Would that be OK? Just wondering, I need to get out of here (work).

I just want to encourage everyone who has the means to donate to this worthy cause. Even $5 or $10 makes a difference. More is great too. Between the paypal stuff and the walk in donations, I'd bet we're close to a grand. That's awesome.

Thank you to David, Jim and Brian for your generous donations. It is members like you that set STR apart from every other bike club out there. Thank you so much!

I havent been into the shop today but Neil would probably know what the total is in the shop. The online total alone is $535

I haven't met Mark: Does anyone know his size for clothes? As great as Adrenaline is, they don't carry clothing. I have a pair of Fox shorts new with tags that I'd gladly donate. They're size XL, but they run small....really! Probably good for a 34" or so waist. Might have a jersey or two also that I could part with (slightly used).

Thumbs up Nice job, Grasshopper Chris...

Sorry I couldn't contribute more, but as a starving old Realtor, we're counting all our pennies... but every little bit helps. I know this will not replace everything that Mark has lost... but him just knowing that others are thinking positive thoughts about him and his wife will make a difference and bring a little bit of saneness back into a chaotic time for both of them.

Lastly, we definitely have to have a get-together/party for Mark and be able to share this with him and his wife if possible, as this has deeply affected us all.

Guys, as I've told Neil and Chris and Doug and everyone else that has called regarding this...it is totally unreal. I have no idea what to say. I've tried explaining this to my family and a few non-biking friends and they are in total disbelief, as am I. If ever there was reason to call STR a "family" this is truly it. My wife and I cannot thank you all enough for what you are doing, and how much it means to us both. We can't even talk about it without tearing up--it is just such a powerful token from you all to us during this time.

I was planning on doing the next newbie ride in SD. I've already talked to Ben(bjammin) about this before. We will get together on this soon. I also have a microwave oven and a 32" Sony TV(sorry, not a flat screen)that I do not use. Been sitting in storage. It's theirs if they want it. I'll need some help carrying the TV.

Thank yous to Gene, Gregg and Mike for your donations.
I know Gregg is giving up a few future haircare products purchases and Mike is sacrificing his next professional moustache trim. As for Gene: If he keeps this up he is going to have to apply for sainthood. He sweeps most rides, does trail work with the warriors, organizes newbie rides, rides during the day and works nights and donates money to causes like this.

Bravo to you all and to the contributions you made. Thank you!!

I am going through some stuff right now so I can't throw in a lot of cash or get to Adrenaline, but does anyone want to donate in exchange for a 33 gallon Craftsman Air compressor (couple years old, perfect condition). Also I have an old stick welder, a 6'1 from Brett's on Oahu (not for fat guys or newbs), and maybe some other stuff. Let me know!
