Default New Fire? (san juan capistrano)/Pendleton Fire
I saw a new plume of smoke behind San Juan Capistrano today on my way to work. Its behind avery or oso, back in the trails.

i was hoping that San Clemente would be spared of that at least it's one last place we can ride.

If they have evacs I will video the inside of the house pack up the pictures, important docs and get the heck out of there

yah that's the only thing you can do...are you close to the base? because there's a lot of dry brush/grass in that neck of the woods

I live in ladera and i saw large plume looked like right on other side of antonio parkway possibly where ortega and antoino meet but i looks like it is out now only white smoke

Is it just more or does anyone else think all the "spot fires" are really just spot fires. Sounds to me like some arse hole is running around with a lighter getting all yippie ki yay off the fire. My mom agrees.

My uncle is a Marine and based at Camp Pendleton he was evacuated around 2 pm. He's staying with my parents in Anaheim Hills, he said the place that houses all the explosives was blowing up.

Some could be back fires lit by firefighters but you're right, it looks like a ton of fires in a relatively small area.
