The new 2008 Sunline Bicycle grips are fianlly available!! I ordered mine today!!! 10 % off at $17.95

We tried the new wide version out on the Brodie bikes at Fontana a few weeks ago and everyone who tried them fell in love with them.

I think I may like the thin models. I don't particularly care for the ODI lockons, because I think the diameter is a tad too big, and the outside edges of the clamps are too sharp.

BTW, is this Sunline related to the Sunline that makes motorcycle sprockets? Answer to my question: Yes...click on Sunline moto.

Are the end caps better than last year's? I bought a pair of those, and one small (and I do mean small) tap on the ground and the end cap ripped right off. One ride and already busted.

Have you tried the ODI Ruffians? Their OD is less then the lock on thingy

Yes, I have been using them for the last 5 years. I like the feel of the Sunline's much better!!!

Don't know, haven't used the old ones and I didn't crash while at the demo, so can't speak from experience.

Yes, the Ruffians are better, but note the sharp edge on the clamps.

It's never been a problem for me but hey, I'm sure you have sensitive hands.

Ok DM, if you like 'em I'll check them out. But in the photo they do look like they have a larger OD then the Ruffs.

I used to feel that... but, I've moved on. I really like the Ergon grips with lock-on bar end on my Dos. I think I'll be replacing my Oury ODI lock-ons with the Sunline grips. They were SO cush.

Hey! Come on! I got the Chunkies!!

The grips were fine in the muddy downpour we got caught in last month at Marshall Canyon. Then again...I think my Oakley gloves were a big factor, too. I love 'em!

Ive been using the sunline grips in white(thin version) for a couple of months and theyre pretty pimp. My favorite grip is still the ruffian though.

The Sunline clamp did not adjust tight enough to work on my bars. The diameter was awesome for my big paws.
