Funny how things are nowadays...

Fridays I used to get out the ol bucket and hose and wash my car for the weekend. Making sure it's all nice and shiny.

Nowadays, Fridays I pull out my Park Tool bike stand and do some cleaning and necessary lube and maintanence on my bike how ironic is that?

My neighbor who is a car guy himself would drive by and say "you gonna ride that or clean it?" little does he know that this is my way of thanking my bike for giving such hours of funs and PAIN.

I guess people who ride KNOW and those who dont will just smile and shake their heads as they drive by and see me cleaning my pivot points with a 1" brush eheh

As for the car? well it just drive the cars now, i'll take it got get maintained and washed but that's the extent of it now...more important things like riding and family to pass my time.

well once I get an AM bike it might be worth more than my pathfinder....

[FONT=Arial]I know what you mean. I actually enjoy cleaning up my bikes, its sort of therapeutic. Plus, keeping an eye on things while the bike is in the work stand means less “mechanicals” on the trail.[/FONT]
