Default ok 29ers I have a question

What is a good weight for a 29er frame?
Is 4.5 pounds in there or to heavy?

Frank The Welder built my old Spooky DH bike. The craftsmanship was like some grade A porno. Now I see his 29er and to me it is down right sexy.

BTW, the guy that owns this also owns my old Spook.

I guess you can get the drop outs both vert and horiz.

71.5 is what I had my custom built at... I like it.

is that designed around a Reba @ 100mm? or 80mm?

go for the 100

Yeah-ah! Massachusettes representin'! One of the guys in that company owns "Bruce and Tom's Excellent Adventure" in Gloucester MA, its a big North Shore style trail. He offered me a tour in the spring, good peeps. I know those bikes have cult status in New England, but I don't know much else.

Thumbs up Nice looking frame!

Like the curved seat tube and short stays

However to answer you question it is on the heavy side. A Niner Sir9 (steel) is the same weight.

The Niner One9 is a full pound lighter.

However who cares... if you like it get it
