I was wondering if anyone knew if there was an egg beater clip attachment kinda like the black things that come on the pedals when you get them from the shop that can simulate platform pedals. I like riding my bike with the egg beaters on the trails. I like to ride my bike around school also but i don't bring my riding shoes to school and i don't want to keep changing out the pedals every time i take the bike to school. If anyone knows of something like this i would love to hear about it. I don't like the black SMOOTH things because my shoes are bald and don't stay on them or the pedals when the blackers aren't on them.

Hmmm... maybe try cutting a piece of plywood down and bolting some cleats to the bottom of them. Instant platforms.

I ride Mallets and they work Ok without cleats. The only thing that bugs me when riding my bike without the cleats is that the eggbeater pokes the bottom of your shoe.

Those things are cheap, weak, and not recomended for normal riding. Stay away from those "training" pedals if you can.

Looks like o8's are beter for the riding then my 07 mallets , i see and upgrade in the future they look like theyd be better for my cliped in up hill cliped out downhill and huckin style.
