Default My new Chumba

I picked up my new Chumba XCL today from the guys at Adrenaline. I am so glad I found this bike as it was difficult for me to find a bike to handle a guy my size. A special thanks to Dave at Adrenaline for helping me find, choose and set up the bike, as well as suggesting some great upgrades and to Jesse for suggesting the gold headset, seat post clamp and skewers.

great looking bike! We're at Interbike now. Jason was running dirt demo and I was building the booth with Ted. I got to hang out for the last few hours at dirt demo, we had about 13 XCLs, and the response was great. Thanks to Neil and Tracy for helping out at the demo, I heard you guys were a huge help!

I'm riding with J_Sims this Friday evening at Aliso if you wanna join. Group rides are the best, specialy the ones with 40+ people because you always meet someone new.

I'd love to come on the ride but I have to work, I usually ride during the day as I work at 2:00 pm.

They handed me a cup of cool-aid and told me to drink it, so I drank the cool-aid.

cool-aid or bookoo? theyve got a fridge full of that stuff...

anyway I hope to see you on the trails soon, dont baby your bike because thats not its made for. LOL I bent my rear wheel the first two weeks of owning the bike. and crash at least 2 times every ride- maybe I'm just a terrible rider.

now back on topic..

That is a darn fine bike. I caught a glimpse of it yesterday at Adrenaline (must have been right before you picked it up), but I couldn't look too long for fear I would lose control and use my kung fu powers for evil and run out the door with it. Congrats - you're stoked!
