By main entrance, do you mean the Chino Hills side off Soquel Canyon? That is technically the main entrance to CHSP.

It seems like every time I go to CHSP we take the hard way going up and the easy way coming back down. The first time we went to four corners we took the fire road below Raptor. We found out from someone at Four Corners that we should've gone the other way around. Scully Hill was pretty cool. We could see Green River Drive and the Toll roads from where we were, thats another trail where we took the hard way up and the easy way down. I'd be down for a Chino Hills Ride. I live off Green River so it's REALLY close to me.

Yup. The first time I went to 4 Corners I came from Lower Aliso and Raptor Ridge. Everyone at 4 Corners was looking at me like I was crazy and they said they usually go down Raptor, not up. I learned that lesson the hard way.

Scully is cool, but lots of ups and downs. I might try to ride it today if I have time. I like all of the switchbacks coming down the Brush Canyon trail.

I used to like to ride Skully the other way - Climb brush and then decend towards Water canyon.

Cool! Right now I can only ride on weekends. I work nights and my butt can't wake up early enough to ride before work. I work about a mile away from Whiting. Let me know whenever you guys go for a ride. The newbie rides were always a little too early for me. One of these days I'm gonna go on a STR ride!

I just found my old Franko's map it's a little crusty but still in good shape, a very detailed map. If you get a group ride going count me in.
