Men and their testosterone!?!?! Does EVERYTHING have to be a contest? Are we bringing awards for the farthest traveled? Or, do we just get to beat them up?

I don't know about the rest of the peeps but I vote for where the beer is colder. The Rocky's have to blue if we are going cheap domestic.

I liked Yardhouse at the Spectrum last time....

Also BJs could be a cool place to go... There is one in Brea, HB, Irvine, Laguna Hills, and a few other places... They brew beer

I'd prefer someplace where folks are more free to roam around and mingle. Being seated at one big table or a couple smaller ones is not really conducive to this.

Don't know how JT Schmids is set up, but if it's similar to the Yardhouse (one big ol' table for all), I think we should consider looking elsewhere. I know I always mention it, but Danny K's could be a good solution. With notice, they'll set aside some pool tables, and throw covers on 'em to use as serving/ drink tables. Good selection of cold beer, too.

A BBQ was mentioned earlier, and is also worth consideration. Though it got shot down for the Halloween get together, maybe a beach BBQ and bonfire would be more appropriate for an anniversary celebration? I'd gladly contribute my grill and some wood.

The only thing I don't like about Shecky's camping idea is that I wouldn't be able to make it. No overnighters for me for awhile yet. Excellent idea, though.

Just a couple thoughts.

I guarantee I will do my best to make sure we avoid cheap beer, foreign or domestic. Life is too short to drink crappy beer.

No worries, but I work Sundays, but I could always call in "sick of work" for this.

Bret didn't mention his house??? Dale is the baby born yet, we could come over? Hey George, Long Beach is a beach, right? We could have a beach party at your house. I'd say Dean's place but he's square foot challenged. I'd say up here somewhere's, but if the 909 knew I was associating with others from outside the valley of dirt, I might become disowned by my homies.

I vote for Irvine Regional Park if we want to picnic and que...tons of room and proximity to Peters and Santiago Oaks for ride options.

If not there, I'd say Cooks Corner if we don't want to 'que.

Danny K's is always a favorite of mine. That would be the place in my opinion. Nothing fancy, food is cheap and awesome. Pool tables are 9 footers, and they have shuffleboard, large screen TV's. Certainly will have enough room for everyone.
