Directionally Challenged
 |
Pulled the trigger.
I went and ordered my new bike today. I'm going to give cyclocross a go and towards spring I'll convert it into a touring bike, then I'll be gone on a 3 week cycling vacation...
 I should have it for a ride at the loop in a couple weeks.

Very nice.
CyCross is an incredible and way fun dicipline. Racing same is a lesson in pain. I loved it, and I suck in the flats (and barfed a lot ). On trail rides I've seen some mates clean some really sick stuff, going up and down. Congrats! Enjoy your new ride. |

Sweet bike. Make sure you plan on doing Ultralight touring. Your spoke count is really low for loaded touring.
I would only use rear panniers and no more than 30 pounds of gear. And get a Handlebar bag. You'll probably also need a longer rear rack than normal ones to clear your heels because of the short chainstays. |

I have the JANND Expedition, it's pretty good.
