Grays Peak Tribute

This fire (Butler 2) really has me bummed out. We spent 2.5 weeks at Serrano campground this past August and had some very memorable rides in the area around Grays Peak, Grout Bay and Hannah Flat CG and it looks like much of that area has burned. These were some of the best trails in the Big Bear area and it hurts to see them literally go up in smoke so suddenly.

So, I just thought I'd start a thread where we could pay tribute to the area. Please feel free to post up some of your own photos.

I am also very sad about this. Even though I live in Laguna, I ride that area every couple of months. It was my B-Day ride this summer.

As soon as they open up the area and will go up and see what is left of Grout Bay and Grey's Peak singletracks.

huh, wha???? am sure i'm a moron but did i miss this fire??? we're heading up in late oct for some riding are the trails in fawnskin closed????

Trails should be open by then. But Hanna Flats is destroyed.
